Renewal of the housing complex area in Taipei, supervised by Kengo Kuma and Kashiwa Sato (Renewal of the meetinghouse, outdoor plaza, residential building facade)

　In the area around Yokodai, Isogo-ku, as a promotion area for the “Sustainable Residential Area Promotion Project”, Motoichi and the UR Urban Organization (Urban Renaissance Agency) work together to realize SDGs future cities. We are engaged in initiatives such as generational exchange and community revitalization.
　Following Yokodai Central Plaza in August 2018, the housing complex Meeting House OPEN RING was reopened as a new base in the housing complex area of Hiromitsu Taipei. In line with this renewal, the outdoor plaza adjacent to the meetinghouse and the residential building facade were renovated, and the functions of the community cafe were expanded.
