In 2008, he joined a major cosmetics company as a new graduate and worked as a store leader as a sales officer. He retired 7 years later. In 2016, he joined Nisso Brain Co., Ltd. and assumed his current position.
In private, she married in 2016 and gave birth in 2017. I heard the secrets of working hard as a sales clerk while balancing with childcare.

Question 1. You worked for a cosmetics company to do what you like, but why did you change jobs to a different path of the human resources service business?

"The vocational school I attended and the company I joined are cosmetics-related. I thought it would be natural to do what I like to work, but at one point my friend told me, "There are only a handful of people who do what I like." If many people are looking for a job in search of a better environment and aptitude, I would like to support it. To do that, a temporary staffing company is Ichiban! I thought I got a job at our company."

Question 2. What was the decisive factor for choosing this company?

"I was sympathetic to the fact that the executive in charge of the interview said, 'Our mission is to guide people who are dissatisfied or worried about their work in a good direction.' It was also a decisive factor for joining the company to accept my thoughts.

I heard that there are many women in our sales and some people who work at the top, so I wanted to do my best here too."

Question 3. Please tell us about your current work and team structure.

"This is the job of developing a new company to be dispatched in the NB (New Business) section of the Sales Headquarters. The section has one chief, one member is me and the other, and both are veteran men in their forties. In addition to the NB section, there is a section in charge of existing business partners, but there are about 10 staff members there. The NB Division is a small number of elite units.

Our job is to develop a new company, so we will explain our efforts over the phone and take an appointment, or go out and jump in to operate. About three companies a day can meet personnel. After that, we will talk about the needs and ask for a project. In some cases, the coordinator of our temporary staff asks you to do this kind of work and sells it to companies."

Question 4. Isn't it difficult to do business by diving?

"I have many office buildings in my area, so it's easy to move around, and above all, it's fun to meet people from various companies.
What I think is difficult is the difference in how we treat our customers from our previous job. "Customers" of a cosmetics company in my previous job were individuals who came to buy goods, most of whom were women. I gained sympathy by serving customers with my own experience.

But the current "customer" is a company. Moreover, most of the HR personnel are older than themselves, and they may struggle to gain sympathy. In such a case, we read hot news about the temporary staffing business distributed within the company and consult with our superiors to make use of the knowledge we have gained in sales. Also, I honestly tell what I don't understand, "I don't know," listen to the other person's story, and try to understand."

Question 5. What is the taste of this work?

"After meeting several times with the partner company and receiving the project, I finally stand at the starting point. Next, we will meet with the in-house coordinator and select the best dispatch staff. I'm very happy to say "Thank you" from the dispatch staff who decided to work for that company, and I feel "I'm glad I did it."

Question 6. How do you work before and after maternity leave and childcare leave?

"We took maternity leave from February 2017 and gave birth in March. After that, I went on childcare leave and returned to work in May 2018. From June 2016 to maternity leave, they were switched to in-house work and belonged to the Human Resources Recruitment Department. I contacted the person who wanted to change jobs and set up an interview schedule. During childcare leave, internal staff frequently contacted me, which gave me momentum to return to work."

Question 7. What are the difficulties and ideas of balancing work and childcare?

"When I was pregnant, I was worried that I could balance myself. However, when I consulted with a working mother who worked together in the recruitment department I belonged to before maternity leave, I was told, "I can do it with Kogure," and I felt positive. Currently, she cooperates with her husband to pick up and drop off children's nursery schools. I'm mostly in charge of other housework and childcare, but my husband doesn't speak out, so it's easy to do it at my own pace.

At work, what needs to be handed over to the coordinator, such as requests from clients to dispatched staff, is processed immediately. In order not to accumulate work at my own place, we work with the coordinator to respond quickly so that even if we leave early due to sudden illness of children, we try not to disturb others."

Question 8. Please tell us your dreams and goals for the future.

"As was the case in my previous job, I like to achieve the numbers given to me. That's why I think sales jobs are suitable, and I want to build a career in this job.

As I develop my career, I want to learn what I need greedyly. For example, I want to acquire knowledge that can respond to any company I visit, and acquire personal computer-related qualifications such as MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) to draw out my strengths. I will always do my best to work and raise children."

Relaxing space like our company's best point / cafe

Located near the entrance of the company, this space, which welcomes customers, has a stylish cafe-like interior, and is popular not only outside the company but also inside the company. It is a relaxing space where you can feel relieved just by seeing it, such as returning from outside work.

Message from the President

President & CEO: Chikako Shimizu

President's photo

I decided to establish a system for women's empowerment in 2007 when I became president. It was triggered by the fact that some employees retired after giving birth. I thought it would be wasteful to lose my career for childbirth, so I started reforming the system so that I could work longer after returning after taking childcare leave.

Based on my experience of balancing work and child care, I thought that understanding and cooperation of the staff around me was essential for me to work for a long time. Therefore, we have established a system in which the heads of each department always understand the current situation and support working mothers throughout the department.

As a result, 100% of female employees return to work after using the maternity leave and childcare leave system for the sixth consecutive year. It is also characterized by many employees who acquire it twice. It would be great if we could make a decision to have a second person because we are comfortable to work. We will continue to focus on continuing to return to 100%.

In addition, "child care leave" was established for employees with children up to the sixth grade of elementary school. One child was allowed to leave five days a year, making it easier to participate in school events such as PTA activities and three-party interviews. Due to the recent increase in “Ikumen”, not only women but also male employees have a high rate of acquisition.

In recent years, companies have adopted women-friendly systems, making it easier to work. That's why it's important for women to go to work and continue to grow, not to use the system to end, but not to forget to thank others. I think that such efforts will lead to an increase in my value and lead a more brilliant life.
