How does it change?
Fruits and vegetables buyers can receive or purchase products at each facility and store in the southern market (hereinafter referred to as the “former southern market”) after the abolition of the Central Wholesale Market.
Flower buyers can also purchase at the privately run flower wholesale market. In addition, the related building will continue to operate for the time being.
Since April 1, 2015, wholesalers in the southern market have been operating.
- As an authentic wholesaler, it operates at a home store, and has facilities outside the market for processing and shipping in the former southern market.
- Become a real trading participant and operate at stores in the former southern market.
- In addition, we will jointly qualify as a real trading participant and operate at stores in the former southern market.

An out-of-market storage location is a place where goods from the production area can be delivered directly without going through the market. Based on the application from the wholesaler, the mayor designates it as a designated storage location outside the market.
