Ambassador Botswana and Ambassador's wife visited Chigasaki Elementary School!

　
　On December 16, 2021, Ambassador Hozileen Morake and Mrs. Mareboho Morake, visited Chigasaki Elementary School to meet elementary school studenｔ and others (144 third-year students) who drew pictures.

　The best painting award selected by the elementary school studenｔ of Ben Tema Elementary School after seeing a picture of a third-year student at Chigasaki Elementary School. A certificate of commendation was awarded by the ambassador to the three people who were selected as "The state of life is easy to understand and it is interesting!"

　For the 8th Tsuzuki-Botswana Children's Drawing Exhibition, elementary school studenｔ and others, who had learned about Botswana culture, and this time we asked them about the goodness of Japan as seen from overseas.

　The elementary school studenｔ and others listened enthusiastically to the stories of Japanese products used around the world, the taste of Japanese food, and that they rarely eat seafood because Botswana has no sea. After hearing the story, elementary school studenｔ and others expressed their impressions to the ambassador, such as "I was glad that the Japanese were kind," and "Botswana and Japan are not similar, but I felt each had a wonderful culture."

　In the previous International Understanding Class, children learned through video messages from the perspective of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus. This time it was a valuable exchange opportunity to interact directly with the ambassador.
