The documentary film "Suzu-san-Showa Housework and Family Story-" Screening was held!
On November 14th, a screening of the documentary film "Suzu-san-Showa Housework and Family Story-" was held at the Yokohama Museum of History under the sponsorship of "Cultural Exchange Salon-For our Tsuzuki-", and about 90 people We had you enjoy. (Co-sponsored by the Yokohama City History Museum sponsored byTsuzuki Ward Office)
This movie is a documentary film that spells pre-war, war, and post-war life from the mother's point of view. It is a work consisting of recorded images.
In addition to being able to learn about the situation during the war from the Meiji era to the Showa era, it was a content that made me feel the warmth of the family and the preciousness of everyday life, and it was an impression that many people were nostalgic. In addition, from the splendid "handwork" state, it is a work that gives you the idea of the "power to live" that we are losing in a convenient life and give you notice.
After the movie screening, talk shows were held by director Atsushi Ogaki, illustrator Mie Takahashi, and Deputy Director of the History Museum. I was able to hear about the background behind the scenes and thoughts on film production.
In addition, visitors' gifts prepared by the organizer (7 books of Mie Takahashi's town walking MAP, 10 movie programs) were presented to 17 people who won the rock-paper-scissors with the moderator, and it was exciting.
On the day, in front of the front entrance of the History Museum, a special corner for books related to movies, "Tsukiki Book Cafe" and Mie Takahashi's "Original Painting Exhibition" were also held at the same time, and those who visited the museum were enjoying themselves. .
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we have heard that many people did not see it even though they applied for it. We also hope that many people will have the opportunity to enjoy it.
We will continue to work with cultural organizations to hold active cultural events in Tsuzuki Ward , where cultural activities are thriving.
