Chigasaki Elementary School fourth grader sent support board and support video to Botswana player team!

The Republic of Botswana and Tsuzuki Ward   Chigasaki Elementary School have been interacting with each other since the 4th Tokyo International Conference on African Development held in Yokohama in 2008.
To support the Botswana Olympic national team visiting Yokohama at the pre-camp for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Chigasaki Elementary School fourth graders (4 classes, 145 students) have created a support board and support video.
elementary school student wrote the support message one by one on the 7.5cm x 7.5cm Chiyogami, and pasted it on the board for each class. elementary school student, which depicts Botswana and Japanese flags, and "Good Luck!" elementary school student, who wrote "Please do your best!" in Japanese, and elementary school student, which fold and decorated cranes and shurikens in Chiyogami. When we put Chiyogami on the support board, we talked with elementary school student and others to make sure that the same color would not be next to it.

From the viewpoint of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we will not be able to meet and deliver support boards directly, so we decided to create a support video. In the video, Tsuzuki Ondo and Tsuzuki Yume no Tsuzuki, which are popular among Tsuzuki residents, are used as background music, and the first half introduces the interaction between Chigasaki Elementary School and the Republic of Botswana, elementary school student and others.
The elementary school student and others carried the blue, white and black pom poms and balloons in the Botswana flags, and the flags of Botswana flags, and the flags of the Botswana flags.
The support board and video were delivered to the hotel where the players stayed, and the video was viewed at the dining venue.
With many restrictions imposed on players during the COVID-19 pandemic, I think elementary school student's heartfelt messages could encourage the players.
Tsuzuki Ward   will continue to promote exchanges with the Republic of Botswana.
