Illumination lighting ceremony in Centerminami was held!

On November 19, 2021, a lighting ceremony for the illuminations in front of Center Minami Station, a winter feature of Tsuzuki Ward  , was held by the Centerminami Commercial District Promotion Association.

Before the lighting ceremony, a stage was held by Scarecrowza, a theater company that specializes in shadow paintings based in Tsuzuki Ward  . Many children who passed by were gathered on the day, and everyone was watching the shadow performance while shining eyes. Especially when the play of the main "Miniku Duck no Ko" started, the people who gathered watched the story that developed only with shadow pictures.
Not only the performance by the Scarecrow, but also a shadow picture experience session was held. The Scarecrow performers taught Omojiro happily how to express various animals such as swans, crabs and rabbits in shadow pictures.
The lighting ceremony is the main event after the performance by the Scarecrow seat. In addition to greetings from the organizers, Mayor Sato gave a greeting regarding the continued illumination despite the impact of the new coronavirus infection. After that, with the countdown, the illuminations were turned on.
