Episode 5: Degami of Tono (Azumano)

 Once upon a time, Tono was a livable place with a small mountain in the north, springs springs springing here and there, and a few steps of the Tando River flowed.
 Near the Tando, there was a farmer couple of a close worker. And they worked hard on the field every day. One day, this couple had a baby. But what happened, the wife doesn't have milk. The troubled couple prayed every day, "I hope milk will come out."
 One day, when the husband went out to work in the field as usual, found a clear spring that springs up close by the ginkgo tree in Tono. The host
"If you cook rice porridge with this water and feed it to your wife, you may get milk."
So I put the water in a bamboo tube and took it home, cooked the porridge immediately and fed it to my wife. Then, mysterious, milk that had never come out of a drop of milk, I'm delighted to come out.
"This is thanks to the fountain, that fountain is God."
And the couple joined hands towards the spring of Tono. After drinking the milk, the baby grew up quickly.
 Eventually, this story was transmitted, and the spring of Tono came from the distant villages, as well as the mothers came to pray for `` milk to come out ''. It means that you brought the water.
 The ginkgo tree on the banks of the spring is cherished as a sacred tree, and the ema of praying for the people is dedicated, and at the bottom of the fountain It means that rice (senmai) and offering (saisen).
