Episode 4: Kamatori Pond

Once upon a time, there was a large pond called Kamatori Pond in the deep forest of Mitsukyo, the source of the Akuwa River (Akuwa).
At one point, a young man in the village came to cut the grass that was overgrown around the pond. The young hard worker forgot the passage of time and was cutting the grass.
As the lunch came and sat down for a break, he was slept here, and he began to sleep.
After a while, the young man suddenly looked at the sign of a person, and a beautiful girl who could not seem to be of this world was standing by the pond. My daughter looks sad.
"I am the one who lives here. You are so eager to cut the grass, but we are in trouble if the grass is cut. If the grass around this pond disappears, the place where we live will disappear. Thank you very much. Let me take the sickle that you are using now for a while. Thank you very much."
And she appealed with her eyes.
The young man gave his daughter a sickle that he had used as he was told, where he dreamed. Then, when she thought she had put the sickle in her chest, she disappeared from the front of the young man.
When the young man looked around, there was only a line of water and a glittering scale left there. The young man noticed that his daughter was an incarnation of a large snake.
The young man went back to the village and told this story. And the people,
"Speaking of that, I was taken a sickle in that pond."
He said to him.
Since then, the people of this village have come to call this pond Kamatori Pond. Now it's a long time ago, this pond has been buried and only its name remains.
