Episode 4: Kamatori Pond (Kamatoriike)

 Once upon a time, there was a large pond called Kamatori Pond in the deep forest of Mitsukyo, the source of the Akuwa River.
 One day, a young man in the village came to mow the grass that had grown around the pond. The young workers forgot the passage of time and mowed the grass.
 As the daylight came and rested for a rest, she was stunned to a pleasant sleep, and began to squeeze.
 After a while, a young man suddenly looked at the sign of a person, a beautiful daughter who seemed to be of this world, stood on the banks of the pond. My daughter looks sad.
"I am the one who lives around here. You should mow the grass so hard, but if you cut the grass, we are in trouble. If the grass around this pond disappears, our place to live will be gone. May I help you? Let me have the scythe that you are using for a while. Thank you very much."
And he screaming in his eyes.
 The young man gave his daughter a sickle that he had been using as he was told. Then, when she thought she had put her sickle on her chest, she did not seem to be squeezed away from her eyes.
 The young man glanced around, and there was only a line of water and a glowing scale. The young man noticed that his daughter was an incarnation of a large snake.
 The young man went back to the village and talked about this. And the people,
"That said, I got a sickle in that pond."
And he said.
 Since then, the people of this village have come to call this pond Kamatori Pond. It's been a long time ago, this pond has just been buried and its name remains.
