　The flow to the business license is as follows.

※　Please consult with Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in the ward where the shop is open.

　In order to obtain permission, the facility must meet the standards. Before starting construction of the facility, please bring a drawing (a floor plan of the shop) that confirms that it meets the facility standards and consult with Nishi Health and Welfare Center.
　In addition to the construction contents on the drawing, the business license type is determined based on the specific food handled and the amount handled, etc., and it is determined whether the sales office area and the number of equipment and equipment are appropriate, so you can understand the details of the business contents Please visit or contact us.

　Please apply for a business license at least 15 days before the start of business.
　There are two ways to apply: a food hygiene application system (online system operated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) and by visiting the counter. For more information, please refer to the following link.

　After the completion of the facility, a site survey will determine whether or not it conforms to the facility standards. After confirming that the standards are met in the facility survey, we will carry out procedures for permission examination and permit issuance.
※　Facility surveys cannot be carried out before construction is completed.
※　As a result of the survey, if the facility standards are not met, a re-survey is required. Please apply for a business license with plenty of time.

　A business license will be issued approximately two weeks after the facility inspection. It can be issued at the counter or by mail. Please contact West Health and Welfare Center for instructions on how to receive your permit.
　Post your business license in a place where it is easy to see and start business.

　The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) has started operation of the system for food hygiene applications, and procedures can be carried out via the Internet from June 1, 2021. When using the food hygiene application system, please attach the following required documents and apply.
　The application fee will be paid at the West Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division window as before. After applying with the system such as food hygiene application, please come to the counter for payment.
　In addition, you can continue to apply at the counter.

　Please attach the following documents to the food hygiene application system.

• Documents to confirm the business person (only when applying individually)
  Official documents such as driver's license, resident certificate, residence card, and other official documents confirming the applicant's Address, name and date of birth.
  ※　When applying for a corporation, it is not necessary to attach documents to the head office location and trade name on the corporate number search site, so there is no need to attach documents. However, if you can not confirm it on the corporate number search site, please attach a certificate of entry (within 6 months from issuance).
• Documents proving the qualification of a food hygiene officer
  If you do not have a food hygiene officer, please appoint it within 3 months.

　Application fees will be paid in cash at the West Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division as before. After applying with the system such as food hygiene application, we will adjust the date and time when you come to pay.

  ・When applying for an individual

  Official documents confirming the Address, name, and date of birth of the applicant.

  Driver's license, resident certificate, Residence Card, etc.

  ・When operating in a corporation

  In order to confirm the head office location and trade name on the corporate number search site, it is not necessary to present documents.

  However, if you cannot confirm the corporate number search site, you will need to present a certificate of entry (within 6 months from issuance, copying is acceptable) to confirm your corporate status.
