About evacuation sites to be established in Midori Ward during storm and flood damage
We will inform you of the designated emergency evacuation sites scheduled to be opened in the event of a evacuation warning or other disaster due to a landslide, river flooding or flooding due to the approach of heavy rain or a typhoon.

evacuation warning (earth and sand disaster)
We issue when we announce "earth and sand disaster caution information ※ 1 (northern Yokohama-shi)"
※1 A joint announcement by the "prefectures" and the "Meteorological Agency" when a landslide disaster that could endanger life can occur at any time.
If there is a high possibility that earth and sand disaster warning information will be announced at night, we will issue evacuation [Vigilance Level 3] in advance and open evacuation sites.

evacuation warning (flooding damage)
We comprehensively judge the water level of rivers, water levels of upstream, downstream, tributaries, and rainfall in basins, give top priority to the safety of inhabitants of the ward, and issue evacuation warning as soon as possible. In addition, we will open a evacuation sites near the district where the evacuation warning and others were issued. Please note that not all evacuation sites will be opened.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, it is necessary to avoid "sealing, denseness, and closeness" in evacuation sites.
Even if you are in a safe place, you don't have to go to evacuation sites. Going to evacuation sites is not the only evacuation action. Consider evacuation to a safe acquaintance, friend's house, hotel, etc. so that evacuation sites is not crowded.

Evacuation of pets in evacuation sites during wind and water pollution
This evacuation sites is used by various people, such as those with poor animals and those who are allergic to animals. Please observe the rules when breeding and managing the pets you do so. If you do not comply, you may be refused to bring your pet.
Not all evacuation sitess can accept pets.
In order to reduce the burden on pets, consider evacuation to pet hotels, relatives and acquaintances' homes, and secure temporary storage locations in advance.
◇Temporary breeding sites in evacuation sites during storms and floods are separate from human spaces to prevent allergies.
◇Pets must be kept in the cage and managed at the designated temporary breeding area, and do not enter any other place.
◇There is no stockpiling for pets in evacuation sites. The owner must bring all necessary items such as cages, food, pet sheets, medicine, and other necessary items.
