Participated in the 2024 Yokohama Fire Fighting Maneuver Technical Training Session

　On October 17, 2024 (Thursday), the 2024 Yokohama Fire Fighting Exercise Training Session was held in Fire Academy, Yokohama City. This training session is held to raise the morale of self-defense fire brigade members and improve firefighting skills, and national teams from all 18 wards of Yokohama city participate.

　The Midori Ward Office Self-Defense Fire Brigade participated in the “Indoor Fire hydrant operation II (Men or Gender Mixed Section)” competition for indoor fire hydrant operation techniques, and was ranked first (highest award). It was a wonderful operation that was able to fully demonstrate the results of daily training. The Midori Ward Office was ranked first in the same category last year, so we were able to achieve two consecutive victories.

　We will continue to work toward the realization of a disaster-resistant town in order to protect the safety and security of inhabitants of the ward without neglecting daily training.
