In cooperation with Yokohama Water Co., Ltd. (outside site), City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau received a strong request for cooperation between local governments from Fisrabard, upper and lower Water Works Bureau (WASA-F) in cooperation with Yokohama Water Co., Ltd. (external site). In order to contribute to mutual human resource development and the promotion of the water business, a memorandum of understanding was signed in October 2019 (the first year of age).

Local participation status
JICA Development Plan Study-type technical cooperation “Fisalabard Water and Sewage and Drainage Master Plan Project” (July 2016 to June 2019), we formulated a master plan for water and sewage and drainage projects in the Water Works Bureau (WASA-F). In parallel, pilots and demonstration activities were also conducted. In collaboration with Yokohama Water Co., Ltd., City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau worked on pilot activities to develop human resources and enhance capacity in Fisab's top and bottom Water Works Bureau.
