What is the succession of business by transfer?
A person who transfers the business from a business operator of a facility that has already received permission, etc., will be able to succeed the position of the business operator without obtaining a new permit, etc. by performing an approval procedure or notification. Was. (In the case of a ryokan business facility, it is necessary to obtain approval for succession from Director Ichibo Yokohama before actually transferring the business.)

Examples of utilization of the business succession system through business transfer
If you change the business operator as in the following example, if you leave the location and equipment of the sales office as is, you may be able to take over the business by transfer.
- Change a business office where the parent operates privately to a child's personal business (even individuals other than family members)
- Change a corporate sales office to another corporate business
- Change from individual sales to corporate sales
- Change from corporate sales to individual sales
In addition, succession due to merger or split of a corporation or succession due to individual inheritance is not a business transfer, and another procedure is required.
Notes
- As a general rule, the contents of permission or notification will not be changed before and after succession. However, it is possible to submit a change notification when applying for or submitting a transfer.
- In principle, the terms of permission will be inherited.
- When transferring a part of a business for which business permission or notification has been made, it will not be subject to this rule and may result in a new application or notification.
For example, a business operator of the inn business that has buildings 1 and 2 and has received one permission to manage the inn business in both buildings in an integrated manner transfers only the business in one of the buildings In such cases, it is not subject to this rule. - If there is a major change such as the expansion of facilities after the transfer of the business, the handling will be the same as a new one, so please consult us in advance.
- The primary responsibility for hygiene management in business lies with the person who has transferred the business. When transferring the business, ensure hygiene standards by continuing the business and maintaining the employment of employees.
- The person who has transferred the business shall make a copy of the drawings and other documents submitted when the previous business operator has obtained business permission or has filed a notification (if there is a change, when the change is reported). Please manage properly.
- The person who transfers the business should cooperate with the transferee as necessary and appropriately explain the hygiene management after the business transfer and the policy of the business to the public health center.
- If a business is succeeded based on this procedure, after approval of the succession or acceptance of the notification, the public health center will investigate the status of the business of the person who succeeded the business.
Procedures for Ryokan Business Facilities
In the case of a ryokan business facility, it is necessary to obtain approval for succession from Director Ichibo Yokohama before actually transferring the business.
If the transfer takes effect before the approval of the succession is obtained, the succession system will not be applied and a new license will be required.
