When walking a dog, wear a mask, keep a distance from others, and try to prevent infection by avoiding densely populated parks. Also, if you stay in the house all the time, you may touch your pet too much, but avoiding excessive contact will not only prevent infection but also reduce pet stress.

About custody of pets bred by infected people
Please refer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Veterinary Medical Association website (outside site) to keep pets bred by infected people. Be sure to get your veterinarian's advice if necessary.
