Dog owners are required by law to register once in their lifetime and rabies vaccination once a year.
rabies vaccination is available at a veterinary clinic.
About dog business trip site in rabies vaccination
Every April, we set up a venue for a dog business trip to rabies vaccination in rabies vaccination.
We send a letter of notification to owners registered in Yokohama City in mid-March.
If you are an unregistered owner, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in your ward.
In addition, at the time of registration, a fee of 3,000 yen and an injection vote grant fee of 550 yen are required.
Dogs who have registered and injected are required to have an injected vote with dog's license tag.
Please indicate the owner
Be sure to attach the “Dog dog's license tag” and “rabies vaccination Form” that you will receive when you register your dog on your collar.
If an important dog escapes, even if the dog is protected, you will not be able to contact unless the owner is specified.
You can contact the owner if the collar has a dog dog's license tag rabies vaccination slip and a lost tag.
In addition, since the microchips for identifying the owner are embedded in the body, even if the collar is removed, the owner can be identified if there is a reader (a machine that reads the microchip number).
In the unlikely event of a major disaster, you are more likely to find pets by specifying the owner.
Recommendation for sterilization
Dogs are estrus about 10 months old and can give birth.
If you don't plan to breed, do sterile castration.
Early sterilization can not only prevent unwanted breeding, but also prevent reproductive diseases.
Let's follow the manners
The irresponsible behavior of some owners has bothered other dogs and owners.
Pay close attention to the surrounding environment and make life with your dog enjoyable.
About discipline of dung and urine
Dog walks should be done for exercise and communication with the owner, and excrete should be done at home before walking.
If you can excrete in the house, you will not be able to take a walk due to injury or illness of the owner or dog, or if it is difficult to go out due to intense heat or rainy weather, neither the owner nor the dog will be troubled.
If you dung or urine during a walk
If you have to excrete, be sure to bring your tools so that you can take it home.
If you are about to excrete during a walk, spread the pet sheets you bring and excrete it on it, so that the place will not be polluted.
Also, if urine is urine, spraying water may leave the smell or spread instead. Please take care such as sucking urine with pet sheets etc.
In particular, it is necessary for dog owners to take care not to excrete the entrances and fences of other homes.
A towing rope (lead) is a lifeline that connects the owner and the dog
Be sure to wear a leash on a walk or park, and never leave it free.
Also, don't stretch the rope for a long time, and make it a length that can control the dog.
Don't forget to take care of your neighborhood
It is a concern to anyone other than the owner, such as dog squeals, hairs, and odors.
Keep barking while you are away or when you are visiting, or brushed hair is blown by the wind and next to you.…Have you ever said that?
The owner is obliged to manage it so that it does not bother others due to squeals and odors by animals.
Let's consider the people around you, such as discipline properly and cleaning frequently.
