About pig fever
On July 8, 2021, a case of suspected pig fever occurred at a pig farm in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and a national test found that the pig fever was positive.
Pork fever is characterized by its strong infectiousness to pigs and boars.
Keepers such as mini pigs should thoroughly manage their breeding and pay attention to the health status of each individual.
In the unlikely event that you suspect a pig fever, please contact your local livestock hygiene center immediately.
