Collaboration and collaboration with universities
In Motoichi, we conclude comprehensive agreement about the training, upbringing of teachers with 42 universities (currently 55 universities, etc.) responsible for teacher training in 2014, and universities and the Board of Education, Motoichi schools cooperate and collaborate. Through collaboration, we established "Yokohama-shi university cooperation, collaboration meeting" for the purpose of enriching each educational activity.

Over the past five years from 2014, Yokohama City and universities collaborated to enhance teacher training, and have built various initiatives through the "Yokohama City University Collaboration and Collaboration Council". Here is an overview of it. (Issued in FY2018)

This leaflet has been created as a tool for thinking together on how to make it a better activity for both universities and students who experience school, and the schools that accept them.
The school experience is an effective opportunity for students to learn about the state of the school and the work of teachers while interacting with elementary school studenｔ students.
Please make use of it at universities, etc., so that universities and boards of education and schools can cooperate and collaborate to develop human resources who will be responsible for future education in Yokohama.

We collaborated with Yokohama National University to create a video for junior and senior high school students and university students in order to make them aware of the appeal of the profession of "teachers" from an early stage. (produced in fiscal 2020)
In this video, the protagonist's high school student will experience school at elementary school, see behind the scenes of the teacher's work, and "Why did you aim to be a teacher?" By asking the teachers about what they were happy and difficult, they talk about their thoughts on "teachers" and "school". In addition, principals and teachers send messages to high school and university students who are interested in the profession of "teachers".

Yokohama City Human Resource Development Index
In March 2019, City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat made final revisions to the Yokohama City Human Resource Development Index [Management Version], and in March 2020, the Yokohama City Human Resource Development Index [Teacher Version], "School Nutrition Staff and Nutrition Teacher Version]" in March 2020 to promote the development of faculty and staff who continue to learn.
Based on the fact that the national guidelines were revised in August 2022, and the "4th Yokohama City Basic Plan for Educational Promotion" was formulated in March 2023, and the "4th Yokohama City Basic Plan for Educational Promotion" was formulated in March 2023 to share goals for fostering faculty and staff who continue learning autonomously.
