"Himawari Practice Book" teaching materials created by Japanese language support base facilities

To support elementary school studenｔ students who have just arrived in Japan and their parents, Yokohama opened the Himawari, a Japanese language support base facility in September 2017. In the pre-class program, elementary school studenｔ students provide intensive initial Japanese language instruction for about one month, three days a week, and adaptation instruction for Japanese school life. We have created and published "Himawari Practice Book 1 (Kiyone Edition)" (published in September 2019) and "Himawari Practice Book 2 (Special Sound Edition)" (published in September 2021) as original teaching materials for initial instruction.
