Yokohama Educational Practice Volunteer
It is only available to students who are aiming to become teachers. (Students from universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, and vocational schools)

Features of Yokohama Educational Practice Volunteers
(1)You can check the "neighboring station", "date and time of implementation", "activity details", etc. on the Web, so you can select activities that suit your own convenience.
(2)There are short-term activities such as "off-campus learning", "accommodation events", and "summer vacation learning sessions", so it is easy for busy people to use it.
(3)We always publish school information throughout the year. After the application and registration are completed, we will introduce the desired municipal school within about one week.
(4)Volunteer insurance will be available in Yokohama City.
(5)At the end of the activity, you will receive an "implementation record".

Procedure
(1)See school information
(2)Register at the university volunteer window (no belongings required)
(3)Apply
(4)The Board of Education will notify you of the decision school by e-mail.
(5)Conduct interviews and meetings with the principal of the decision school
(6)Implement

※We will introduce the desired school within about one week after registering at the university and completing your application.
※Even if your application has been completed, you will not be able to introduce it if you have not registered at the university.
※Either registration at the university or your own application can be done first.
※If you register at the university only once, you will be valid during your enrollment. You can apply as many times as you want to work.

2.Registration procedures on campus
If you find any activity you like, please register at the volunteer office on campus.
By completing the registration procedure once, you will be valid during your enrollment and you can apply as many times as you want.
You do not need to register for the second and subsequent applications while attending school.

*Transportation expenses from home to the host school are, in principle, paid by yourself. There are other expenses such as food expenses, so please check the school information carefully.
*Volunteer insurance is provided at the host school. (You do not need to subscribe individually.)
*It is forbidden to disclose information obtained through activities to the outside or to keep in touch with elementary school student students.

(2)Received a reply email from the Board of Education
If you have completed your registration on campus, you will receive an email from the Board of Education about the school you plan to accept within about one week.
*You can apply before registering at the university, but you will not receive an email about the school you plan to accept before the registration is completed.

(3)Confirmation of interview date
Please contact the school you plan to accept and check the interview date. We will discuss details such as the date and time of the activity at the time of the interview.
Where approved
1. Please fill out the "Consent Form" prepared by the host school.
2. The "Activity Report" form will be distributed, so please fill out the form and submit it to the host school and university after the end of the entire activity schedule.

(4)Start of activities
Please observe the following items.
1. I try to be dressed and act appropriate for the educational setting.
2. We will follow the rules of the host school and act according to the instructions of faculty and staff.
3. We will not disclose information obtained through our activities to the outside or communicate with elementary school student students.
4. We will not slander or endanger elementary school student students during our activities.
5. Priority will be given to the schedule of activities. If there is a day when you cannot participate, consult with the host school in advance.
6. We will take responsibility for our activities to the end. If you are unable to continue your activities, consult with your host school.
*If there is a consultation from the host school regarding the extension of the period, please make a decision at your own discretion.

(5)At the end of all activities
Please copy two copies of the "Activity Report" and submit it to the host school and university staff.
"Implementation Record" will be issued by the host school.
