Procedure to transfer to a school outside Yokohama City

Procedure at "Transfer School (Yokohama City Elementary and Junior High School)"

 Submit the "Transfer / Exit registration form" to your new school, and receive documents such as "student registration certificate" and "Certificate of Paying Books" from your school on the last day of school.

Procedure at the Kohoku Ward Office

 There are no school-related procedures, but you need to submit a “Notice of Transference” to the Kohoku Ward Office.

 In addition, "transfer notice" is possible by mail without coming to the agency.
 For details on the "Notification of Transference", please refer to "Notification of Transference (moving out of the city)".

Procedures for "Municipalities in New Address (Transfer Notification)"

 After you live in New Address, please submit a “Notification of Transference” to the municipalities in New Address area.

 Please refer to school-related procedures in the New Address area.
 Some municipalities apply directly to schools, so please contact the municipalities in the new Address area in advance.
