Foreign nationals enter Yokohama City School

About "admission guidance"
As of August, parents who are registered as residents of Yokohama City and who will enter Yokohama Municipal Elementary Schools from April of the following year will be mailed a "Guidance for Admission" in early September.
If you wish to enter Yokohama Municipal Elementary Schools
Please complete the procedures at the Student Registration Desk at 22nd Floor, Family Registry Division, Kohoku Ward Office, by the date indicated in the "Guidance for Admission".
In addition, even if you cannot complete the procedure by the deadline due to circumstances, please contact us as we will accept it at any time.

・Admission Guide (Documents mailed from Kohoku Ward)
・Children's "Resident Card" or "Special Permanent Resident Certificate"
If you do not wish to enter Yokohama Municipal Elementary Schools
There is no procedure.
Please dispose of the "Guidance Guide" (documents mailed from Kohoku Ward) by yourself.
About admission to Yokohama municipal elementary and junior high school in the middle of the school year
If you are a foreign national, the procedures differ depending on your nationality.
