85.The 36th Izumi Ward Ekiden Tournament was held.

　On February 5 (Sun), the 36th Izumi Ward Ekiden Tournament was held for the first time in three years at Izumi Yu Suichi Pond in a calm and clear sky. The number of participating teams was reduced to 53 teams, about half of the previous fiscal year, but it was divided into four divisions (elementary school section, junior high school section, girls' section, general section), connecting each other and competing .
　After the opening ceremony, 16 teams of "elementary school students" started. The members ranged from teams that seemed to be early in the upper grades to energetic teams centered on the lower grades, but all teams demonstrated their full potential, completed a 2-kilometer course per person, and all teams were firmly We connected the cross. The police department Izumi team, who helped run the tournament, also participated in the general section. Unfortunately, we missed the championship, but we had a good time with the local people. We look forward to your continued efforts to ensure the safety and security of Izumi Ward.
