64.We visited "Senju Festival"!

"Senju Festival" was held for the first time in three years on October 15 and 16 at Izumi Kotobukiso, a welfare center for the elderly in Nishigaoka, Izumi-ku.
Izumi Kotobuki-so, a welfare center for the elderly, is a facility that can be used by people aged 60 and over, with the aim of improving health, improving culture, and providing hobbies and entertainment opportunities. There is an age limit for normal use, but on the day of the "Senju Festival", many people can participate regardless of age, and it is popular with local people as a place for exchanges across generations. Was.
On the first day, the opening ceremony was held with a performance by Okazu Taiko drummer.
In addition to announcements such as hula dances and ukulelele, there were also many works such as pottery, watercolors, and wood grain dolls that you created with all your heart for this day. Outdoors, there is also a mock shop by local people, and I think that it was an opportunity for many local people to come and deepen exchanges.
On the 16th, the Izumi Ward Sports Festival 2022 was also held at the Izumi Sports Center next to it.
