73.Held for the first time in three years! "Gathering of Park Protection Association, Waterside Protection Association, and Hamaroad Supporters"

　Daily management, such as creating and cleaning of familiar roads, parks, and rivers, is supported by volunteer groups centered on the local community. I have you cooperate. Currently, there are 91 park protection associations, 16 waterside protection associations, and 29 Hamaroad supporters in the ward.
　Since FY2019, Izumi Ward has been holding “Gathering of Park Protection Association, Waterfront Protection Association, and Hamaroad Supporters” for the purpose of mutual interaction among the organizations that have been active. In addition, in order to express our gratitude to those who have been registered as members of the group for many years and continue their activities, we also hold the awards for Izumi Ward Protection Association Activities.
　Last year, two years ago, due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, "Gathering of Park Protection Association, Waterside Protection Association, Hamaroad Supporters Gathering" was canceled, but this year on Friday, November 25 Held for the first time in three years. Among them, out of the 16 awardees, 12 people who attended on the day were given the "Commendation for Protection Society Activities" and expressed their appreciation for their past activities. Some people have been active for 29 years, and I have realized that these activities can use parks, rivers, and roads comfortably. Thank you very much.
　In addition, after the commendation, a technical seminar "Low Maintenance Flowerbed Course Using Perennial Plants" was held by gardener Saori Imoto. He talked about how to design and the secrets of success in an easy-to-understand manner. I hope it will be helpful for future activities.
