46.A workshop was held for all members of the Izumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee

　On July 3 (Sun), "Izumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee Workshop" was held at Nakawada Elementary School for the first time in three years. The Sports Promotion Committee is commissioned by Yokohama City for the purpose of creating opportunities for residents to easily interact with sports through local activities, including the Yokohama Marathon and World TriathlonIzumi WardIzumi Ward Marathon. Currently, 147 people are active, and this time the training was held once a year for all of them.
　Although it was held in a very sultry, about 100 sports promotion committee members participated, throwing sticks like bowling, defeating wooden pins, competing until 50 points, In addition to practical training at Petanque, where metal balls were thrown at the ball and competing for points by putting them closer to the opponent, they also received a lecture on emergency lifesaving from the fire department. It was the training for the first time in a long time, but after a break, everyone was really working hard for about three hours.
　I hope that what we practiced in this training will be brought back to the community and help promote sports in the community. Thank you very much for your time in the hot weather.
