60.The Red Feather Community Fundraiser has begun

Last Updated October 3, 2022

Call for Fundraising

In October, we see casters put red feathers on their chests and tell the news. The red feather community chest, with red feathers as a symbol, began in 1947, shortly after the war, as a private movement led by citizens. Initially, support was provided mainly to affected welfare facilities to help post-war reconstruction, but now it is being used to promote community welfare based on the Social Welfare Law. You may see pick-up vehicles with red feather signs, but the donations received are distributed to social welfare facilities, social welfare organizations, and social movement groups, and various community-based welfare businesses and social movement services It is used for activity funds. For example, it is also used in local children's cafeterias, salons for the elderly, and dispatching disaster volunteers.
Community funding that is being worked on as a "mechanism to improve Jibun's town." If you donate more than a certain amount at the Izumi Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare, you will receive a pin batch limited to Kanagawa Prefecture. In addition, it is said that donations are accepted from the Internet. The small feelings of each person gathers and leads to great power.
I would like to ask for your cooperation.
