62.In the fall of sports, we participated in a sports event of the district association!

On October 9 (Sun), athletic meet and light sports events were held for the first time in three years at the three district associations of northern Izumi, Nakata, and Shirayuri.
Although the wind was strong on the day, there was a sunny day, so it was a day for the athletic meet.
"Izumi Northern District Large Athletic Meet"
In the northern part of Izumi, we participated in the opening ceremony, but a very large number of people participated and the officers were surprised. There is also an entrance march for each Neighborhood Associations, the return of the winning cup from the winning team three years ago, and the oath of players by elementary school students.
Unfortunately, we couldn't support the competition, but I think that the neighbors worked together and it was very exciting.
<Light Sports Event in Nakata District>
In the Nakata district, a light sports event was held instead of a large athletic meet in order to interact with each other, such as mould, petanque, and quoits.
I tried to challenge quoits and molac, but this is surprisingly difficult.…Next time, I would like to practice a little before taking on the challenge.
"Shirayuri District Sports Festival"
This is the 44th sports festival in the Shirayuri district, which I visited last time. The competition was devised and very exciting so that various people, from children to the elderly, could participate.
I also jumped in and participated in the bread eating competition, but the bread was shaken and I couldn't eat easily.…。 But it was a fun time.
Each district was held while taking measures against infection, such as shortening time and changing the content, but I feel that it was a very valuable opportunity to create exchanges and connections in the community.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the officers and executive committee members for their efforts in holding the event.
