I did a self-examination with the new corona test kit, it became positive. What should I do?
Last update date April 1, 2024
If a positive test result is obtained in the antigen qualitative test kit, etc., it is highly likely that the new coronavirus infection will be positive.
Due to the change in the position of the COVID-19 Infectious Diseases Law on May 8, 2023, there will be no restrictions on behavior based on the law, and it is up to the individual's judgment whether to refrain from going out.
However, since there is a high risk of infecting others for 5 days after onset, it is recommended that you refrain from going out until 5 days have passed since the onset and 24 hours have passed since the symptoms have eased.
When consultation is required
If you are at risk of illness, such as the elderly, please consult your GP or your local medical institution.
