A

With the transition of the new coronavirus infection to Class 5 infectious diseases on May 8, 2023, there will be no restrictions on employment and daily life behavior when infected under the Infectious Diseases Law, and you are not required to refrain from going out based on the law.

Reference

It is important to note that there is a high risk of infecting others for 5 days after onset.
(For three days after onset, infectious virus emissions are very high, and after 5 days.)
As a result,

  • It is recommended that you refrain from going out for 5 days after onset and until 24 hours have passed since the symptoms have eased.
  • It is recommended that you refrain from wearing a mask or contact with high-risk persons until 10 days have passed.
