・Print out the election bulletin posted on the Election Commission website and distribute it to unspecified or large numbers of people.

About the timing of distribution of election bulletin

In the Upper House election bulletin, a manuscript will be submitted by the candidate by the day after the announcement of the election. After printing it as a manuscript by the Kanagawa Election Commission and handing it over to the Election Commission of each municipality, it will be distributed to each household from the Election Commission of each municipality. . Therefore, it will take a certain number of days to start distribution, but we will strive to distribute it as soon as possible so that it can be delivered as soon as possible.

How to vote

・Constituencies Election
 Enter the name of one candidate on the ballot paper (cream (light yellow) color)

・Proportional representation election
 Enter the name of one candidate or the name of the political party on the ballot paper (white)

Required requirements

Those who meet both age requirements and Address requirements
(1) Age requirements (those who are 18 years or more as of voting date)

 *Those born by July 22, 2001 (the day following the day 18 years before the voting date)

(2) Address requirements (those who have been recorded in the Basic Resident Register for at least three months since the date resident certificate was created)

  If you have changed Address, please check the following.

Those who have been transferred from outside Yokohama City

Those who have moved in by Wednesday, April 3, 2019 (three months before the electoral list registration reference date)
 →It will be a vote in Address after moving in.
Those who have moved in after Thursday, April 4, 2019
 →It will be a vote in Address before moving in.

Those who live in Yokohama City and have been transferred (or moved in the ward)

Person who reported section (or in ward) transfer by Saturday, June 1, 2019
 →It will be a vote in Address after the transfer.
Person who reported section (or in ward) transfer after Sunday, June 2, 2019
 →It will be a vote in Address before the transfer.

Notes

1.To vote, you need to be registered in the electoral list.
2.Those who are recorded in the Basic Resident Register and have Address requirements are registered in the electoral list.
3.Those who vote in "Previous Address" must be registered in the electoral list of the previous Address.
4.Those who have moved in from outside Yokohama City after April 4, 2019 and have passed four months from the date they moved out of the previous Address area, will be deleted from the electoral list and will not be able to vote in the previous Address.

About early vote

The available period and time vary depending on the early polling place.

How to vote at a business trip destination, hospitalization destination, home (certain requirements are required), etc.

1.Fill out the “Invoice and Oath” with required items, submit it to the Election Commission of the ward registered in the electoral list by bringing or mailing, and request a ballot.
 ※required documents is in the board of elections of the municipality where you stay. You can also download from voting in municipalities that are not registered in the electoral list.

2.In addition to ballot papers and voting envelopes (outer and inner envelopes), you will receive an absentee voting certificate.
3.From the day after the announcement date, bring the necessary documents for voting to the municipal election committee of the place of stay, etc.
 ※Please bring the envelope containing the absentee vote certificate without opening it.
 ※Please do not write the candidate's name on the ballot in advance.
4.From the day after the announcement date to Saturday, July 20, absentee voting will be performed at the nearest municipal election committee voting place.
 Please finish your vote as soon as possible.

Those who are hospitalized or admitted to hospitals, nursing homes, etc.

If you are hospitalized or hospitalized at a facility designated by the prefectural board of elections, you can vote at that facility.
