The council, taking into account the following opinions comprehensively, and reached the conclusion that the amount of member of the Diet remuneration should be "leaved".

With salary table of general staff being revised in November, 2023, this council, from the mayor, based on the provisions of the council ordinance, Article 2-2 of the Yokohama City Special Staff Member Remuneration was asked about the amount of member of the Diet remuneration and the amount of salary of the mayor and deputy mayor (hereinafter referred to as "the amount of member of the Diet remuneration, etc."), and in response to this, the council exchanged various opinions on the amount of member's. .
The cumulative salary revision rate for general employees since FY2011 (hereinafter referred to as the “cumulative revision rate”) has increased by 1.29%, the salary revision status of general staff, comparison with other cities After discussing based on the situation of salaries of special jobs and the background of the revisions so far, the main opinions from the committee members were as follows.
・Considering the fact that the revision of the salary table for general employees has been revised with emphasis on young people, comparisons with other cities, and the cumulative revision rate of 1% range, the current situation is considered to be left unchanged.
・Based on the revision status of general staff and the status of the 8th grade revision, etc., I think that it is fine to leave it.
In the future, I think that the trend of wage increases will increase as a move by private companies, but what kind of thinking should we discuss? If only the reference value of the cumulative revision rate, it is difficult to determine when to revise it. In addition, there is a concern that if it is revised, it may deviate from the revision status of general staff in that year. From the next time on, will there be other indicators that are different from the cumulative revision rate?
