Yokohama City and Keikyu Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Keikyu Electric Railway") will conduct a demonstration experiment of a shared transportation service in the area west of Keikyu Tomioka Station in Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama City (hereinafter referred to as "the area") on Monday, November 1. We carry out from Monday.
This area has many steep slopes and narrow roads, and there are areas where access to bus stops and railway stations is not easy to access bus stops and railway stations. I am.
This year is positioned as the final stage for full-scale operation, and based on the results of the past three years, we will conduct a paid demonstration experiment on courses centered on slopes and courses to residential areas far from the station. In addition, as a new initiative, we will expand the morning and evening operating hours, which have been frequently requested by users, set child fares, and introduce cashless payments, etc., to further improve convenience.
In the analysis of the results of the demonstration experiment, the analysis will be conducted based on changes in social conditions, such as behavior restrictions during the experiment.
This demonstration experiment will be carried out as part of an effort based on the "Agreement on Promotion of Community Development for Public-Private Partnerships along the Keikyu Line (South Area of Yokohama City)" concluded by Yokohama City and Keikyu Electric Railway in April 2021.
