After the improvement of the JR Kannai-sta.-kitaguchi station building in April 2018, we have been working to improve pedestrian spaces such as roofs and sidewalks to create continuity with the surrounding urban areas and create a lively place. The construction of "Kannai-sta.-kitaguchi Square" in front of the station north exit ticket gate has been completed, and will be put into service on March 30, 2022 (Wednesday).
