At the 8 City Cooperation Mayors Conference (*), based on the proposal of Kamakura City, we have been promoting educational activities to reduce marine plastic waste since FY2021.
Based on the proposal of Fujisawa City, in the Marine Plastic Waste Reduction Awareness Project, we have created an enlightenment video that encourages residents of eight cities to know about the marine plastic waste problem and call for actions that each person can do to reduce it.
（※） It consists of the mayors of Yokohama, Kawasaki, Yokosuka, Kamakura, Fujisawa, Zushi, Yamato and Machida.
