 At the 8 City Cooperation Mayors Conference (*), in order to respond to the shortage of specialized human resources (technical occupations such as civil engineering and construction workers), a “Study Group on the Development and Securing Specialized Human Resources” was launched. We have been discussing and examining the utilization of human resources aged 65 and over after the reappointment.

 Eight cities cooperate and start operation of "approach for utilization of specialized human resources aged 65 and over".


(※) It consists of the mayors of Yokohama, Kawasaki, Yokosuka, Kamakura, Fujisawa, Zushi, Yamato and Machida.


1 Overview of Initiatives
 We will share recruitment information (including those whose duties are similar to technical positions) for the fiscal year appointment staff pertaining to technical positions in each of the eight cities, and provide them to technical staff who reach the maturity maturity (65 years old) in each city. In addition to securing experienced human resources in each city, elderly staff will have more choices for working styles from the viewpoint of local contributions and passing on their own experiences and skills in each city.

3 Operation start time
 Operations will begin for recruitment recruitment after April 2024.
