Today, the 4th meeting of the Designated City Mayors' Association of Designated City Mayors' Association, "Projects for Realizing Diverse Metrocity System," headed by Mayor Norihiko Fukuda was the project leader, and discussions for fiscal 2023 were started by the mayors of 13 designated cities.
At this meeting, discussions were held on the direction of specific initiatives in FY 2023.
Based on the discussions at the meeting, the designated cities will work together to realize a variety of metropolitan systems, such as the legislation of special cities, which will lead to the cultivation of momentum throughout the country.
