At the 8 City Cooperation Mayors Conference (*), based on the proposal of Kamakura City, we have been promoting educational activities to reduce marine plastic waste since FY2021.
This time, we will cooperate in eight cities connected by land, rivers, and the sea, and carry out cleaning activities in line with "zero garbage day".
（※） It consists of the mayors of Yokohama, Kawasaki, Yokosuka, Kamakura, Fujisawa, Zushi, Yamato and Machida.
