We carry out visit City Counsil by municipal high school student which started in 2015, triggering reduction of voting right age to 18 years or older.
In order to provide a good opportunity for participating high school students to raise their interest in parliament and politics through this visit to City Counsil, we will have a good opportunity to raise their interest in parliament and politics through this visit to the conference hall and committee rooms that are not normally accessible.
It is an approach that high school students can feel closer to the council and members of the Diet by exchanging opinions with city council members about issues and familiar issues in Yokohama that high school students think.
