Municipal high school students will visit City Counsil.

In response to the reduction of the age of suffrage to 18 years or older, a municipal high school student will visit City Counsil this year, which started in 2015.
In order to provide a good opportunity for participating high school students to raise their interest in parliament and politics through this visit to City Counsil, we will talk with four active city council members after visiting the plenary hall and committee rooms that are not normally accessible.
By exchanging opinions with members of the city council about issues and familiar issues in Yokohama that high school students think, high school students can feel and think about councils and members of the Diet more closely.
