Partial revision of the publication standards for disciplinary action against faculty and staff

In the case of disciplinary action (dismissal, suspension, salary reduction, reprimand) to faculty and staff, in principle, they are announced on the date of disposal. Due to the spread of information, it is increasingly likely that victims in obscene cases will be identified by linking multiple information. Therefore, at the extraordinary meeting of the City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat held on July 22, 2019, we revised some of the disclosure standards for disciplinary action against faculty and staff to ensure thorough protection of the privacy of victims.
We provide guidance and thorough guidance on the prevention of scandals on a daily basis, but we will continue to respond strictly to non-misconduct and work to further prevent scandals.
