The Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Yokohama City, and Kawasaki City have been studying the demand and utilization measures for decarbonized fuels (CN fuels) such as hydrogen and fuel ammonia, as well as the scale and placement of port facilities at the Yokohama Port and Kawasaki Port Carbon Neutral Port (CNP) Study Group, in which academics and private businesses participate.
The results of the Yokohama Port and Kawasaki Port CNP Study Group have been compiled and announced.
