Yokohama City, JAL, and Daiei Supermarket will work together to start full-scale collection of waste cooking oil from homes!

　Yokohama City and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (“JAL”) have concluded a partnership agreement on the production of SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) using waste cooking oil as a raw material.
　As the first step, we set up a collection box for waste cooking oil at the Aeon Food Style Kamoi store operated by The Daiei, Inc. to collect waste cooking oil generated at home.
　Since we have determined that the collection of waste cooking oil at the Kamoi store can be carried out continuously, full-scale recovery will begin on June 5. To further promote initiatives, we will start collecting waste cooking oil at the AEON Food Style Mitsukyo and Aeon Food Style Konandai stores as well.
