　Yokohama City is strengthening measures against global warming and energy measures to realize a decarbonized "Zero Carbon Yokohama" by 2050, and is promoting initiatives to realize a sustainable urban model. As part of this initiative, we have concluded a partnership agreement on renewable energy with 16 local governments that have abundant renewable energy resources.
　In the cooperation agreement, we will also cooperate on the creation of mutual regional vitality triggered by connections between local governments regarding the promotion of decarbonization. This time, we will hold the "Iwate Hirono-Yokohama Kizuna Festival in Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise" hosted by Hirono-cho, Iwate Prefecture, which has concluded a cooperation agreement. . In this event, Yokohama City will also co-hosted and introduce underwater performances and special products by "Southern Diver" and "Northern Ama" in Hirono-cho.
