Yokohama City and JAL concluded a partnership agreement to promote the production of sustainable aviation fuel made from waste cooking oil.

　Yokohama City and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) have participated in the Fry to Fly Project, a project aimed at realizing a decarbonized society through domestic resource recycling, and are promoting initiatives related to the production of SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) using waste cooking oil as a raw material.
　In order to further promote these efforts, Yokohama City and JAL have concluded a partnership agreement on the establishment of a mechanism to collect waste cooking oil generated in households in Yokohama and recycle it into SAF and other organizations.
