We established the Yokohama Decarbonization Innovation Council - we aim to form a large-scale base for supply and demand for next-generation energy such as hydrogen.

In 2023, the government formulated the "Basic Policy for Realization of GX" and revised the "Basic Hydrogen Strategy" in 2023, and the development of large-scale supply and demand bases for the realization of a hydrogen society.
Yokohama City also established the Yokohama Decarbonization Innovation Council to promote decarbonization toward 2050 while in response to national trends and attract GX investments.
Taking advantage of the potential of the Yokohama coastal area of Yokohama City, we aim to form a large-scale base for supply and demand for next-generation energy such as hydrogen, as well as by deepening collaboration for research and development of advanced technologies that contribute to decarbonization.
