Install an ultra-rapid EV charger on public roads in Minato Mirai 21 district-A charging station for EV trucks on public roads in Japan-

Yokohama City and e-Mobility Power Co., Ltd. have concluded a "Collaboration Agreement to Promote EVs in Yokohama City" as one of the initiatives to realize a decarbonized "Zero Carbon Yokohama" by 2050. We are actively working to create an environment that makes it easier to ride electric vehicles (EVs) in the city and to create a new system that contributes to the expansion of charging infrastructure.
At the Shinko Chuo Hiroba in Minato Mirai 21 District, which has been selected as a pre-decarbonized area, we have started a demonstration experiment to verify issues and usefulness by installing EV quick chargers on public roads.
This is the first nationwide initiative to install a 150 kW class ultra-rapid charger on public roads and as a charging station capable of EV trucks.
