The Yokohama National Highway Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and City of Yokohama, Road and Highway Bureau are working together to promote traffic safety measures for living roads using big data (ETC2.0 data).
As a result of analyzing big data accumulated for about half a year to confirm the effectiveness of safety measures, it was found that the vehicle's driving speed was still below the target of 30 km/h.
This is the first initiative in Kanagawa Prefecture to implement and verify the effectiveness of safety measures on residential roads using the analysis results of big data provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
