Yokohama City and Yokohama Seaside Line Co., Ltd. are promoting the Kanazawa Seaside Line Extension Project, which is directly connected to Kanazawa Hakkei Station on the Keikyu Line, in order to improve the convenience of the Kanazawa Seaside Line and to improve access around Kanazawa Hakkei Station.
On March 31, 2019, the Seaside Line Kanazawa Hakkei New Station opened, and provisional service on a single line has started. (double Track during FY2019) The convenience of switching between the seaside line and the Keikyu Line has been greatly improved, and it has been well received by many customers. Please make use of the seaside line which has become increasingly convenient.
