Brochure (new use guide for industrial water supply) (PDF: 2,717KB)
Industrial water is cheaper than tap water used at home because it is simple water purification treatment that does not filter or chlorine disinfection.
The water supply capacity has 362,000 cubic meters per day, and can supply abundant water stably under a monitoring system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Since industrial water is treated with raw water from high quality water sources, it can be treated as water suitable for the customer's usage.
→We support industrial activities with inexpensive and abundant supply.
→Since the water is distributed using the difference in elevation, it uses less electricity and few chemicals used for water purification treatment, so it is environmentally friendly.
Industrial water is used for the purpose of supplying to industries (manufacturing, electricity supply, gas supply, heat supply) for cooling water, thermal management water, product processing water, cleaning water, boiler water, raw material water, etc. Can be used in
Industrial water can also be used as miscellaneous water, such as air conditioning and toilet water for commercial facilities, cleaning of animal houses, and agricultural facilities such as plant factories.
※Industrial water cannot be used for human consumption.
We supply treated water that is submerged from raw water from the same high quality water source as water supply.
Standard items | Raw water ※1 | Processed water ※2 | Water quality standards (regulations) |

Industrial water supply is supplied within the city of Yokohama to areas of Tsurumi Ward, Kanagawa Ward, Nishi Ward, Naka Ward, Hodogaya Ward, Asahi Ward, Isogo Ward, Totsuka Ward and Sakae Ward.
For more information, please refer to the following website.
The industrial water charge is calculated by adding the two basic charges, a flat-rate basic charge based on the basic amount of water and the basic usage fee calculated according to the actual amount of water used within the basic water volume.
In addition, there is an excess fee that applies to the amount of water used beyond the basic water volume.
Based on the supply contract, the basic water volume per day is determined. The basic amount of water is determined by multiplying the planned amount of water per hour to be used most frequently in the day.
In addition, basic water quantity cannot be reduced in principle.
Basic water volume = Amount of water per hour used most frequently in the day x 24 hours
Basic water volume per hour x 24 hours = 600 cubic meters (100 cubic meters unit)
※The basic water volume is 200 cubic meters or more per day.
Type | Contents | Unit price |
---|---|---|
Basic charge | Flat rate for basic water volume | 25.1 yen |
Basic usage fee | Used within the basic water volume per hour Charges for water volume (basic water consumption) |
4.0 yen |
Excess charges | Water used in excess of the basic water volume per hour Charges for water usage (excess water usage) |
87.3 yen |
Industrial water charge = (basic charge + basic usage fee + excess charge) + consumption tax equivalent
Basic water volume 600 cubic meters / day, basic water usage per month is 10,000 cubic meters, and the excess water usage per month is 120 cubic meters (calculated on 30 days per month)
Basic charge 600 cubic meters x 30 days x 25.1 yen = 451,800 yen
Basic usage fee 10,000 cubic meters x 4 yen = 40,000 yen
Excess charge 120 cubic meters 3 x 87.3 yen = 10,476 yen
Consumption tax, etc. 50,227 yen
Total 552,503 yen
Please check the cost of new water supply (installation of meter and water receiving tank, water distribution facility construction, water supply facility construction).
Please submit a water supply application form. Based on the examination, the basic amount of water per day is determined. The determined basic water volume cannot be reduced unless there is a special reason.
When water distribution facility construction (bureau work) is necessary, please pay approximate construction cost. After confirmation of delivery, we will start construction of water distribution facilities.
Please submit an application for approval of water supply facility construction (own expense construction). After approval, water supply facilities can be started.
After the water distribution facility construction (bureau work), the construction cost will be settled (refund or additional charge).
We carry out completion inspection of water supply facility construction (own expense construction). Water supply will start after the completion inspection.
※The above procedure is a standard example and may differ.
The installation of a meter to calculate the fee and replace the meter every eight years based on the Measurement Law are at your own expense. Water Works Bureau will install a flow measurement panel for automatic meter reading, but the base and power supply of the measurement board must be installed at the customer's expense.
Install a water receiving tank to receive water supply evenly at all times and prepare for water outages. Water cuts may be cut off if there is an unavoidable reason due to force majeure such as damage to industrial water supply facilities, or if there is an unavoidable reason due to facility renewal work.
In addition, if the water is cut off for a period of more than 24 hours, the basic fee will be reduced based on the standard.
In order to receive new water from industrial water supply, customers will be responsible for the construction cost when laying water distribution pipes (public pipes) is required.
We have to pay the estimated construction amount in advance and settle it after the construction is completed.

The construction of the water supply pipe from the branch of the water pipe (public pipe) to the receiving tank on the premises is carried out after the customer requests a water supply contractor to apply to the Water Works Bureau, design review, and approval. After completion, it is necessary to undergo a completion inspection. A design review fee and a completion inspection fee will be charged.
[Example] 35,300 yen if the water supply pipe is 75 mm or more
By simply choosing the location and amount of water, you can complete an estimate of the initial cost of industrial water supply.
