Health activity promotion members are engaged in health promotion activities such as lifestyle-related diseases prevention in the community as a promoter of local health and a partner in government health promotion measures.

The Mayor of Yokohama is commissioned by Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations. The term of office is two years.
